Each piece begins with an idea I want to explore. I write and rewrite prompts, sometimes over days, and let most of the results go. Long stretches pass where nothing is quite right. AI is the tool. The direction, the judgement and the final call are mine.

Where a piece starts: Consciously Accumulating Balance

A prompt is a starting point, not a recipe. The same words give different results in different tools and settings. I work mainly in Midjourney, blending my own images into new style references, so each piece has a look of its own. A few words I keep coming back to are inverse, reflective sheen, subtle reflective glitch and, my favourite, dimensionalise. Writing the prompt is the easy part. Knowing which result to keep is the craft.
